Let's get back to learning

The meaning behind our name: Blue is a colour often associated with trust, loyalty and understanding. Every house needs strong foundations before the walls and roofs can be constructed.

Children are the same. Every child needs solid foundations that are based on trust, loyalty and understanding in order to be able to grow, learn and develop to live a fulfilled life.

Welcome to Blue House.

Welcome

Every child deserves the best start in life, to be able to reach their full potential and be safe and protected from harm.  Although the Government remains ambitious, and despite reforms and the many laws which exist to protect those rights, many children are still missing out.

The reasons why are numerous, but many are unnecessary and avoidable. We know everyone working with and supporting children wants the very best for them but often how that looks and what direction to take, is confusing, seems unattainable and surrounded in bureaucracy.  Time and resources can create further obstacles. We want to ensure people are able to focus on what they do best rather than spending significant time or money getting children the help and support that they deserve.

Every child and situation will be different but with over 20 years experience in supporting the most vulnerable children you can be confident that our expert advice, guidance and support can help you navigate the complexities of the education system to ensure EVERY child's entitlement is safeguarded at every step of the way.

SEND and Alternative Provision Improvement Plan March 2023

The Children and Families Act was introduced back in 2014 to give children and their families, especially the most vulnerable, greater protection and support by reforming services that need to support them.

Whilst this was revolutionary, the Government recognised that it was not fully achieving what it was designed to achieve so in 2019 it launched a review of SEND and Alternative Provision to understand more about the barriers and frustrations within the current system. As a result of this extensive review the Government introduced its SEND and Alternative Provision Improvement Plan in March 2023.
